Peer Support Groups
We run a variety of peer support groups in Rotherham, and are looking for volunteers to assist.
Advocacy is a person-focused role which involves speaking with service users and identifying their issues, assisting them to articulate their needs, maintaining contact and updating records to reflect service user circumstances. More info: Volunteer Advocate.doc
A volunteer befriender would be an outreach role in Rotherham focusing on the needs of individuals including visiting service users at home, helping them register for and attend activites, and develop self-confidence.More Info: Volunteer Befriender.doc
